I JUST WANTED TO DROP A LINE AFTER SEEING ANDY NANCE’S ARTICLE IT BROUGHT BACK FOND MEMORIE’S OF NEWMAN’S GYM IN SAN FRANCISCO WHERE ALOT OF GREAT FIGHTER’S TRAINED INCLUDING ANDY NANCE , ERIC MARTIN ,RICCI WYNNE , AND IRSH PAT LAWLOR TO NAME A FEW IT WAS A THROW BACK OLD SCHOOL GYM LOCATED IN THE HEART OF THE TENDERLOIN AND ONE WOULD SOMETIME’S HAVE TO FIGHT JUST TO GET TO THE GYM,ANDY NANCE TOOK ME UNDER HIS WING AND LOOKED OUT FOR ME AND FOR THAT I WILL ALWAYS BE GREATFUL OVER THE YEARS I RUN INTO ANDY AND HE STILL LOOKS LIKE HE CAN GO THE DISTANCE ,HE’S ALWAY’S BEEN A CLASS ACT BOTH IN AND OUT OF THE RING AND A TRUE AMBASSADOR TO THE SPORT .
